How to measure for a sectional
A sectional can fit the room and still get stuck in the hallway. So measure the way in as carefully as the room itself, and when you check the way in, use the box, not the sofa.
A Magic Home sectional arrives in several boxes and goes together where it's going to live. The number that has to clear every doorway is the largest box. Each product page lists it.
Tip
Take a photo of the tape measure across each doorway. If you email us to check a fit, send the photos along.
1. Measure the room
Measure the wall or corner where the sofa will sit, from one obstacle to the next, like a door frame or a window you want to keep clear. Then tape the footprint on the floor and walk around it for a day or two.
Keep planning.
